Dr. Zane Edlynn Uhland, DO

Dr Uhland has done three mostly successful surgeries on me over 8 years (2 knees and a shoulder). Surgeries went pretty well, but lately the office staff has been TERRIBLE about calling back/following up. I saw the PA a month ago and surgery was scheduled for a month later at a facility where my insurance doesn't cover. Rescheduling at another facility is apparently not something that the staff is capable of doing. I have made several calls and have yet to receive a reply.

Love it when the doctors is straight forward with you. His staff was very accommodating as well with resources. When he did my husbands surgery, my husband told me that he prays with the patient. That speaks Volumes...

I took my mom here after she had injured her foot. I called last minute and they worked us in. Everyone there was friendly and polite. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had been suffering for months with knee pain. Dr. Uhland recommended a partial knee. Which I had done it a long time ago. Minimal surgical pain and no worry of infection. When I go to the office I often see his PA, who is very competent. Can't wait to have the other knee done if I have the same results.

DR.Uhland is the worst doctor I've ever come across.He is rude,arrogant,uncaring and could care less about his patience.I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.I absolutely loath this man!!!

Office secretary "Michelle" is very rude to patients over the phone as well as in the waiting room! All The Time.

The office staff was very friendly, but my experience with the Dr. and his PA are less than favorable. Had carpal surgery release surgery that failed. Per Dr, I needed to have an MRI done, after 2 weeks I had to call to get my results. Per PA the MRI showed nothing remarkable but he would tt the doctor and get back to me. Today makes a week and I still have not heard back from either of them. Was told the PA was sick (not my concern) and Dr was not in the office all of the times I have called. So in a nutshell, I don't believe I was treated well, no PT was scheduled or recommended and I STILL have severe pain and I make my living using my hands. I hate to sound mean, but I would not recommend this Dr or his staff if you really want your pain situations to be corrected.

The reception staff, Nurses and doctor are among the best I've seen. The greeting was most friendly. the wait was comfortable in that the waiting room is large and not at all crowded. they have straight back chairs, cushion chairs and a couch so you have your pick of your comfort level for that day. I have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Uhland and find him to be very friendly and comforting. I have another surgery on the horizon and will choose him again. My wife is due for a rotator cup procedure and will choose him also.

Absolutely horrible physician. Poor training No follow up

Dr Uhland spent no time with me. I am in physical therapy by my own decision..Uhland released me without a word about whether I could start driving, whether I needed follow up therapy, etc. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone because of his poor communication skills alone. I am praying that at least my surgery was done correctly. And the staff at the office are terrible. I kick myself for letting Mercy make a surgical decision on my behalf when I landed in their emergency room.

PA gave me a STAPH infection and DR UHLAND had no idea of how to fix, or that is how it seemed after 3 surgeries. Now I am with a different doctor. Maybe PA's should keep to giving out pills and leave the needles to the doctors. BEWARE OF PA'S IN HIS OFFICE, FOR THEY NO NOT WHAT THEY ARE DOING OR HOW TO LISTEN.

Be prepared when you visit OKC Orthopedics to wait. My average time of waiting was 2 to 3 hours. The waiting room is so full that you will likely have no place to sit. It's odd to me that they have NO automatic doors into the clinic. I have seen people struggle to open the doors into the clinic including me. I would not recommend going to this clinic.

Staff is very friendly, will schedule your surgery in a very timely manner. I visited with the PA who scheduled the surgery, figured Dr. Uhland would at least talk to me prior to surgery but Anethesiologist introduced himself, injected me and I was out. Then came the recovery room, figured I would have a one on one with the Doc at that point....Wrong again. At least my shoulder would once again feel better...well I was wrong once again. I kept telling the PA that the pain was much worse. My physical therapist stopped therapy because he knew it was getting worse. I went back to Dr. Uhlands office they tried to tell me it was my neck...which its not. Come to find out, my labrum which was supposed to be repaired is still torn!!! Staff now wont answer the phone. I would highly suggest going to another surgeon or stay in a holiday inn select and do the surgery yourself!

Literally spent 3 minutes with me, didn't even bother examining me. Acted rushed and bothered by my questions. Office staff was nice though. I will not be returning.

I belive hes a good doctor

surgery went as planned. PT following surgery was the key. It is always preferable to see Dr. at each visit, but PA was on the ball during interim visits. Dr. was there for key appointments.

The office staff seem to have a chip on their shoulder and appeared to be put out. Poor handling/diagnosis of the problem. Felt like they really didn't have much experience with orthopedic medicine or how to run a medical office. Horrible follow-up!!!! Went for a 2nd opinion and found out the problem had been treated completely wrong, causing much worse damage!

If you enjoy meeting your doctor the day of surgery then this is the place for you! His office henchman treated me as though I wasn't as important as the patient waiting to be seen. Drive through medicine at it's finest! If you want very little patient/doctor interaction make an appointment today!

i got staff infection lost my elbow and joint and he did not treat the infection like he should have. so there for another doctor had to step in and fix me
