Dr. Kunkel and all of his employees are well trained in instructing the patient about the procedures that they will perform and they also go out of the way to make sure I am comfortable. Their concerns, toward making my visit painless as possible are very evident, beginning with the friendly greeting when I enter the office til the end with a parting comment " call if I have any problems".

I had a major sinus lift and implant done and I have a very small mouth, my case was extremely complicated, but Dr. Kunkel was very thorough and gentle and worked very hard to make me feel comfortable and got the procedure done very well. I highly recommend Dr. Kunkel. His staff is extremely friendly, very helpful and very organized. This can be a nerve wracking experience but the whole team made me feel very at ease.

Dr. Kunkel is a superb oral surgeon with a wonderful staff. My husband is a general dentist who refers many of his patients to Dr. Kunkel -- with excellent results. Last week Dr. Kunkel removed my sonâ??s wisdom teeth. He and his staff were very skilled and caring! My son experienced only minor discomfort and has completely healed -- we could not be happier with the outcome. Dr. Kunkel has also been caring for my elderly father who has suffered from osteonecrosis in the jaws. After multiple surgeries and procedures my father is pain free and stable. We are so thankful to Dr. Kunkel and his expertise!

Dr. Kunkel did a professional job of removing my daughter's four wisdom teeth. The IV was painless, and her recovery quick with minimal pain. We appreciated his phone call to our home that night as well as a card signed by the entire staff wishing her a speedy recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Kunkel!

I visited Dr. Kunkel office to remove two of my wisdom teeth 1 and 32. Setting the time was so easy and I did all the document work online. My average wait time was less than 5 minutes. The staff clearly explained to me their charges and what does the insurance covers. Very happy and nice staff. I hammered the doctor with so many questions and he was very patient with me. What impressed me the most is his honesty. I highly recommend Dr. Kunkel.

Dr. Kunkel and his staff are incredibly kind and compassionate. I have PTSD and was significantly panicked about the thought of going under anesthesia. The day before my surgery, I called the office to address some of these issues. Dr. Kunkel and his staff made me feel totally normal despite my strange concerns. I couldn't believe the level of care I received. After the procedure, I was actually far too lethargic from the anesthesia for anxiety to be an issue. Dr. Kunkel even called later in the day to see how I was doing. What's more, Dr. Kunkel actually explains things. He doesn't just hand you a care sheet and expect you to just do as he says. If you ask how and why things work, he'll take the time to explain. To me, that is the epitome of a great doctor - someone who listens to my questions and really answers them in terms I can understand. This office is truly fantastic!

By far Dr. Kunkel is the best I've been to and will continue to receive his care and would recommend that anyone in need of a highly skilled professional I personally suggest you look into Pike's peak oral surgery it is worth it!

I recently had extensive oral surgery by Dr Kunkel including bone grafts and a sinus lift. The staff from the front desk to the professionals during the surgery are competent, kind, and compassionate. Dr Kunkel did a great job of minimizing my discomfort and Im healing well! Over the last year I have visited Dr Kunkel several times for two procedures. I had a broken tooth extraction/bone graft procedure and after healing the installation of three dental implants. This includes several follow up visits to gauge my healing from each procedure. Dr Kunkel and my regular dentist worked together to develop a comprehensive plan to restore my left side bite after I broke my stupid tooth on a piece of beef jerky of all things. First off I want to say that Dr Kunkelâ??s staff/team is outstanding! They were very attentive to my needs as a patient that did not want to be there (hate dental work) and did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and welcome. Iâ??ve interacted with lots of medical staff over the years and I would rate Dr Kunkelâ??s staff as one of the best for helping me through my dental unpleasantness. They were also very helpful to my wife when she called with additional questions about my care. I went to see Dr Kunkel based on the great recommendation of my regular dentist so I expected a doctor that knew what he was doing and was not disappointed. His explanations of the work to be performed at each visit was detailed and at my level of understanding. My two procedures requires sedation which always makes me very anxious but Dr K and his team handled this very nervous patient quite well and kept my anxieties to a minimum. I also liked the fact that Dr Kunkel called me after work hours to check on my progress in recovering from the dayâ??s sedation. When he did not reach me directly the first time he called again the next day to ensure I was doing okay. Bottom line I can highly recommend Dr Kunkel and his team for your oral surgery needs.
