Steven N. Klein, DPM, is a caring podiatrist with over 30 years of experience. In addition to time-tested conservative and surgical treatments for relief of foot and ankle pain, Dr. Klein is now providing REGENERATIVE PODIATRY – STEM CELLS, PRP and ShockWave. These newer Regenerative procedures allow Dr. Klein to deliver, in selected cases, alternatives to surgery and other invasive procedures with the added benefit of reduced downtime for his patients. With offices in Mountain View and Redwood City, Dr. Klein sees patients throughout Silicon Valley, from San Francisco to San San Jose. Dr. Klein has two Silicon Valley locations in Mountain View and Redwood City.Dr. Klein is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Podiatric Sports Medicine and is certified in Diagnostic Ultrasonography, as well as Radiography and Fluoroscopy. At his offices,
Dr. Klein utilizes the latest treatment techniques and cutting-edge technology. In fact, although most podiatry offices can take X-rays (as can he), they are one of the few offices with on-site diagnostic ultrasound scanning and ShockWave therapy. Ultrasound scanning often provides an immediate on-the-spot diagnosis for many foot and ankle conditions such as neuromas, tendonitis, ankle sprains, and plantar fasciitis, to name but a few. Further, US scanning may avoid the need for scheduling (and paying for) an MRI. ShockWave therapy is a 7-minute office procedure that uses pulses of deep ultrasound (not the same as provided by physical therapists) for healing chronic conditions that might otherwise require surgery, such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. Medical research shows ShockWave therapy attracts your own stem cells to heal damaged tissues. Of course, more traditional treatments are readily available if needed.Dr. Klein and the team provide a compassionate, gentle approach to patient care for a wide array of foot and ankle conditions, including bunions, foot, and ankle sprains, diabetic foot and wound care, toenail problems, neuromas, and much more.

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews

Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.

Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
