If you are interested in good skin health and detecting and removing skin cancers early this is the practice for you. Bedside manner might not be the greatest, but he gets you in quick, run an efficient, friendly office, takes the appropriate action and sends you on your way all patched up.

Dr Gunter helped me out tremendously with my psoriasis, I feel like a new man.

I’m surprised at some of the poor reviews. I had a positive experience and left feeling reassured with a diagnosis. The minor surgery was conducted professionally and scar is looking great. Was seen quickly and dealt with respectably. Would complete recommend Dr Gunter

Lousy bedside manner - but once you get over that fact, he is the best. I find you just have to talk to the man and ask questions. He is busy and is very good at what he does.

He is thorough, but quick. Has a real concern and compassion for his patients. Some might say he is abrupt, but it is just his dry sense of humor. After 3 years of treatment including one surgery, I strongly recommend him.

This is a busy office, but Dr. Gunter and staff are great.

He's a great doctor! He makes his patients happy and treats them! He's very nice and he does great work in surgeries with very minimal scar!

Dr Gunter lives in "Lancaster, California and come to Pahrump once a week and done so for over 20 years! His office is always full which means he MUST be a good Dermatologist???? It's like a restaurant, only a few people? Food must be not too good? My husband and I have been to at least 6 different Dr.s here and have always had to wait 1 hour or longer and once 3 hours! Except the Cardiologist who comes here from Las Vegas, never over 15 minute wait very organized as he is in Las Vegas!Dr Gunter was very nice and did listen to our complaines which he KNEW right away and took care of the poblem. I have been back twice and my husband 6 times for his Cyst was very large and Dr. was very honest about it from the start!I would rather wait 1 hour or longer in his office in Pahrump then drive more than 2 hours, there & back, and pay for all that gas! He is a VERY busy DR. like most Specialist that come here from else where!And plus they let you watch very good MOVIES on TV! Like so many people I listen to in grocery stores, ALWAY complaining about the "wait" unles you are young & still have a job to go too, what;s the HURRY? I feel sorry for those who always have to complain, negative, unhappy! I do THANK GOD I think about the alternatives! Dr. Gunter is a GREAT person and Dermatologist!

I have been going to Dr. Gunter for 20 years and I believe he is the best dermatalogist in the Antelope Valley. My only issue is the length of time in the waiting room; I suspect that they over book. He needs to move to a newer office building because the building he is in is aging in need of modernization and with all of the construction next door at AV Hospital; it's time to move. He seems to have a thriving practice.

2 1/2 hour wait and still didn't get to see him. Lady at counter said I could only get stiches out on Mondays. No other time. Last visit to see him! He is a great Doctor but I have yet to get to see him in less than a hour wait past my appointment time.

He truly isn't a "touchy - feely" type of doctor but he knows his stuff and has taken care of every problem that myself or my family has encountered. Will not go anywhere else

I had the same long wait as everyone else, but I heard about it in advance so I brought something to read.However- he was the best dermatologist I've seen. He actually correctly diagnosed my skin problem the moment he saw it, and I'd already been to two other "dermatologists" that said they couldn't identify it without taking samples and gave me medications that didn't work- actually made it worse. I looked it up online and sure enough, he nailed my condition. I don't know why the others couldn't figure out what turned out to be a common and obvious problem.He was also rushed with me, but very friendly and energetic. I was fine with having the fast diagnosis.I'll take the wait in return for someone who knows his stuff.
