Does not know how to interact with his patients in a professional manner. He reminds me of an immature child.

14 years a patient. He is the best doctor in this area. His medical mgt skills are exemplary. Negative reviews often come from patients who have been non-compliant. He doesn't tolerate that well....and shouldn't. No one in our family has ever been directed wrongly....have the highest esteem for him and his staff, and have full trust in his knowledge and management of my health.

yes he is the rudiest POS I have ever met... and the so called women who work for him do not understand patience confantially….

does not listen to you, only wants to hear himself speak. just sits their typing on his computer. my impression he is not a good doctor only there for the money.

rude,condescending,knows everything, doesn't listen,thinks only he knows everything (You're stupid).

He should not be practicing as a physician. He is rude, disrespectful and belittling to his patients. He does not address your concerns but dismisses them while basically laughing in your face.

To the point with answers and remedies. I appreciate his directness. If you need to be referred - no problem.

Watch out for this doctor,he needs to go back to Medical School for a refresher course! Don't even dare ask him a question you will be belittled no matter who you are, or what you think you know!

IS DISRESPECTFUL, SEEMS INTERESTED AT FIRST THEN WANTS ONLY TO HEAR HIMSELF TALK. DOESN'T LIKE TO HAVE A DISCUSSION WITH THE PATIENT THAT WANTS TO ASK QUESTIONS. IT'S HIS WAY ONLY. I AM 75 YEARS OLD AND HAVE NEVER HAD A DOCTOR TREAT ME AS HE HAS. HAVE FOUND ANOTHER DOCTOR AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM.

Dr. Vanderveen doesn't realize the impact he's making on his patients apparently Bed Side 101 has slipped his education, he's like a Dr. Jekyll & Hyde he nice one moment then flips out on the patient and starts verbally abusing them, I know someone right now that's reporting him to the State of Michigan Medical board because of the way he simply treats people! Too bad he's a smart man but maybe has underlying issues himself!

am 70 yrs old and sane, Lol worst dr I have ever gone to, RUDE , likes to hear himself talk, does not give you chance to speak, very anti-drugs, which is good, but if you have severe pain constantly you do not want to hear, there is no cure { which I know} Live with it,!!!! his words exactly then walked out of room. I was in shock, I was not asking for any drugs, just wanted a referal to maybe a foot or neuroligist dr, will never go back, feel sorry for his patients!!! should not be a Dr. with his attitude. someday he will cause harm to a patient!! Too bad because he has a nice staff.

Dr. Vanderveen should not be called "doctor." He is rude, loses his temper and shouts. He does not know what he is doing as far as diagnosing an illness. I am thinking of suing him for malpractice. He did harm to my body and to my spirit.
