Saw Dr Larson for a second opinion about a knee replacement. He addressed all of my concerns, answered my questions with honesty, and I very much felt heard. Good medical insight and very kind.

Dr. Larson is an excellent surgeon and very professional.

I have had both hips replaced. The first by a surgeon in Philadelphia. The second by Dr. Kurt Larson. It is an amazing difference. The leg length was perfect. (it wasn't by the doc in Philly). The incision was smaller than expected (it was at least 12 inches with the previous surgeon and MUCH shorter with Dr. Larson). Recovery was easier and faster. Dr Larson is responsive to questions and very informative. I felt well prepared for the procedure. Around my family we have nicknamed him 'the Hip Wizard'. -PSavary

I just finished my fourth surgery by Dr. Kurt Larson. Both knees and now I have completed both hips. His caring attitude, bedside manner and superior medical knowledge allowed me to relax as I place my life in his capable hands. I am recovering from the fourth surgery as I write and owe my mobility to Dr. Larson.

Dr. Kurt Larson is a kind, caring doctor who performed an excellent surgery, a total hip replacement. I could not have asked for a better surgeon or outcome.

About two years ago I had a total knee replacement from another orthopedic surgeon. After sever months the knee surgery became infected and I was hospitalized. Dr Larson removed the infected replacement and installed antibiotic spacers and had me admitted to hospital and PT care until infection was gone . Since this time he has consistently reviewed my situation and displayed the utmost caution in his decision to perform additional surgery on my knee replacement due to higher risk of infection and greater complications. Dr Larson and his staff are very cautious and professional in try to avoid any possibility of further issues due to infections. I appreciate his dedication, expertise and overall concern. I’m still seeing him on a regular basis in regard to my medical needs due to the knee and infectious possibility I highly recommend Dr Larson and staff and have the utmost respect and confidence in him

I had to have a hip replacement. Larson was my doctor. My right hip was replaced and my right leg was 2 Inches longer than the left AND the hip kept popping out of the joint....at the slightest turn...even during rehab in a pool. Larson said I was like THAT before I came in! I was 49 yrs old and had to have my shoes built up 2 Inches...(I had been a cheerleader and aa tennis player and this man told me I had the deformity before I came in to him). I went 3 yrs trying to get s Dr to make me right...nobody would touch his mistake....this threw my back off...and I needed a back fusion 4 yrs later.... Stay away!

Don't go to this office poor customer service especially the managers

Dr. Larson is the best at what he does.

With my total hip replacement, my horrible screaming pain is gone. I had a lot of damage in the hip (necrosis) with pain that is hard to verbalize. Dr. Larson took care of all of that. The pain of recovery is NOTHING compared to pre-surgical pain. His hands are blessed and he really cares about his patients.

Another doctor who sells you the cadillac before he has you checked under the hood......is a shame my family member will never walk again due to his lack of completing full physical evaluation before the knife.

I am very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Larson and Mark Ford. However, the entire experience has been made intolerable due to the utter disrespect that I have been shown by Donelle, a member of the front office staff. Her tone, language, and utter disregard for my issues have been indescribably inappropriate and unacceptable. What a shame as she is a discredit to the office and to health care.

I am a 79 year old female that recently had a TOTAL HIP replacement performed by Dr. Lawson of Fredericksburg, Va. Twelve Weeks later post-surgery, I am now walking pain FREE and without the assistance of walker, and without the cane! I am walking completely on my own. I have my independent life back! Dr. Larson and his PA, Mark Ford, have given me great care. Dr. Larson sat down with me for as long as I needed the week before my surgery. I had a long list of questions and he never made me feel he was in a hurry. He saw me before surgery in the hospital and two times after. Mark came each day and saw me back in the office. I am happy with the care I have received over the last 7 years and with my knee replacement. I will go back for the next one.

Highly recommend Dr. Larson. There was no hard sell. No push to operate and wait for me to answer. When I asked him what I was to do--then, he said "you need surgery." Although Dr. Larson is off on weekends, he stopped by the hospital dressed in jeans and a t-shirt to visit me after flying his plane. You feel comfortable in the presence of Dr. Larson. He continues to remark on how well I am healing and how little scarring resulted. He is the best Fredericksburg has to offer. You will not be disappointed in Dr. Larson's care and concern for you as a patient. He always returns my phone calls at the end of the day.

Dr. Kurt Larson performed surgery on my right knee (total replacement). He did not even visit me in my hospital room anytime after the surger. Less than 2 months after surgery my knee pain returned. Neither he or his PA could diagnose the problem and determine why the knee was/is so painful even with the help of xrays, etc. Approx. 2yrs later, after consulting 4 other surgeons, one of those surgeons discovered that I have 'Patellar dislocation after total knee arthroplasty'. Not only that but I had serious blood clots in both legs and the attending physician told me that these were likely caused by Dr. Larson failing to schedule removal of the 'filter' which had been installed prior to the knee surgery. That surgeon informed me that the filter was completely clogged!
