Dr. Leigh Ann Curl, MD

My daughter is a student athlete and she had two ACL repairs and the recovery was absolutely progressive -- teamed with the physical therapist Justin Cooper -- both times (different knee) my daughter had the best care. She is almost back to sport for the 2nd repair, she is great!!

Conducted a clavicle fixation on my 16 yr. old son. Procedure, follow-up, and patient care were hallmarks of her and her staff.

Outstanding person as well as Doctor! Gives you her time, and really cares!

I traveled from FL to see Dr. Curl for a rare shoulder fusion surgery. I would not trust anyone else for my surgeries. She has knowledge and skills many other doctors don't. She is dedicated to her patients and to the research of new and future surgical/medical procedures. This surgery has changed my life, her work was flawless, and I couldn't thank Dr. Curl enough.

Dr. Curl is very busy because she is very good, so getting an appointment can take a bit of time but is well worth it. Dr Curl has operated on my shoulder, elbow and knee, and has given me several injections. Her ability to make accurate diagnosis is excellent. She also knows specialists in other fields if you have a condition she does not treat. She is highly recommended by me.

Waited almost two months to get to see her... having massive pain issues.. cannot get a response as for help. No call backs just broken promises.. very frustrated... when you do call, they act like you are a bother and they do not care and when you hang up, they probably throw out your message.. not happy at all!!! I am not anyone important but I need some help with pain.

Doctor Curl is above reproach. She is beyond superior. She saved me from a life time of limited mobility with my left shoulder/arm. There are not enough superlatives. The one negative. Ninety-five percent of her staff are professional and well informed BUT, she has a phone clerk that should be wearing a horned helmet and a breast plate. Perhaps she would be better suited as a tattooed grease monkey in a dirt floored back alley motorcycle repair shop. Her demeanor would be fitting for the type of ilk that she would serve there.

So what that Dr. Curl is the surgeon to the Ravens. My experience, as a regular patient who went to her for a consultation, is that she minimized my significant orthopedic problem (left shoulder acromium issue + a torn rotator cuff) saying there was nothing in my MRI to indicate I needed surgery. I was in significant pain, and no other surgeon agreed with her; my MRI showed obvious signs I needed something done. She seemed dismissive of me because I wasn't anyone important - that was my impression. I have since had successful surgery.

Dr Curl is an excellent, caring orthopaedist. She saved my life. I trust her completely and she has always followed through.
