Dr Yakkanti was attentive and concerned. I was diagnosed with hip bursitis. He made sure I was comfortable and understood my healthcare plan.

Dr. Yakkanti performed hip surgery on me in 2022 .He did an excellent job and I am pleased that I choose him for my surgery. He has followed up with checkups .if I have any more needs for orthopedic surgery, I plan to return to him .

Great doctor who has helped me deal with 3 difficult infections in my joint replacements 2 in my knee and one in my hip. He didn’t do the original surgeries but helped me when it went bad and no other doctor would treat me.

Dr. Yakkanti is a wonderful surgeon. It makes me very happy when I have an appointment to see him and I actually get to see him instead of a PA. He takes wonderful care of his patients and answers all your questions. He is just the best! I would recommend him to anyone.

Wait time...Like the Dr Doctor, This was the first time I seen Dr Yakkanti. The wait time from the time that i checked in to the time I left his office was 3 Hrs. WAY to long.

Great doctor he is doing my second 2 stage total revision in 3 years. The problem this has ruined my life I’ve lost everything snd I have wanted to just not go on. My stress and anxiety has been throught the roof so when he get upset because I should care to heal my incision that just adds to how I feel about not wanting to go on. I am 2 hours away from him so it is not easy to get up there on short notice. Also he didn’t bother to ask me about the wound center I used it is a very sterile facility and is run by out local hospital with wound care doctors. So don’t get mad because I used someplace close to home to help me. Also when I tell you I believe a device used during my original surgery and revision cause the multiple infections don’t dismiss it. There is evidence this is true snd have some understanding about this being possible.

He did my surgery after a bad fall and I was brought to hospital in an ambulance! I even had to go to rehab! He did a wonderful job with my surgery and all the nurses were saying how lucky I was to have had him do my surgery !! I am healing very nicely! I thank God he was my surgeon!!!

Dr. Yakkanti is awesome! I worked with him in the operating room and he took over my care after a traumatic car accident in Arizona. I chose him because he has done trauma surgeries and I knew if something went wrong when I came back to Kentucky he would be the one to handle my followup care. It’s a good thing I did this as one of the tibial plateau fracture screws tried to come out and he removed it. In the operating room I saw him fix breaks I thought couldn’t be fixed. He is pleasant and professional and I feel lucky to have worked with him and have been his patient too!! Thanks Dr. Yakkanti!!

I saw him today. Very nice and explains well. I will be getting an MRI to further access my knee

Dr. Yakkanti is the epitome of a great surgeon. He is the best in his field. He is very personable and has a magnitude of experience. He replaced both of my knees with excellent results. I'm so thankful he is my surgeon!

I saw Dr in New Albany for check up told him had been having some trouble with left knee he said next visit need to cray left knee left knee few days saw nurse practitioner told her problem with left knee and left hip she had x-rays done left knee and left hip I'm I had x-rays and was told to bring tape with x-ray pictures to next appt.with dr Yakakoni. I said I would do that

Dr. Madhusudhsn Yakkanti, was very pleasant knowledgeable of my condition. He took out the time to explain to me the pros and cons. Which I appreciate, most doctor will rush you out of the office. I would recommend him to whomever is looking for orthopedics. 5 stars????

Great Orthopaedic Physician

Dr Yakkanti used appropriate xrays to view my knee and compare its progression from previous surgery by another doctor who did a partial knee replacement. He took the time to explain what he feels needs to be done and why in a patient friendly explanation as well as a more detailed medical discussion with my husband. I look forward to having my knee fixed in a couple months.

Dr. Yakkanti took me on as a patient after my former surgeon and the hospital he performed my knee replacement surgery gave me a staphylococcus aureus infection. It’s been pretty devastating emotionally and financially and I won’t work the rest of the year. I have only worked 2 months. But Dr. Yakkanti is very understanding and put up with me not being the best patient and has already improved my condition. He has been working with a infectious disease doctor to get me over this so he can put my new hard way back in. I wish he has been my surgeon from the start and I would have never been in this situation. I’m so glad he took me in as a patient to fix me.

Dr. Yakkanti performed a very complicated hip replacement surgery on me. When my daughter showed my x-ray to some ortho doctors she sees at her work they said he was "amazing" and was "the best man for the job". He was easy to talk to and explained things so I could understand what to expect. I could tell that he really cared about his patients. I am so pleased that I found Dr. Yakkanti. He's the best!

Dr. Yakkanti was the orthopedic dr. I saw while I was admitted to Baptist Hospital East for a foot infection & possibly my very swollen knee. Dr. Yakkanti was very thorough & assuring. He took time to listen to my concerns & his bedside demeanor was very comforting. I am very happy he is my orthopedic doctor. If you have orthopedic needs you should see him.
