Dr. Matthew Hilmi, DMD

I would recommend Dr. Hilmi with absolutely no hesitation. He is a skilled surgeon who really cares about his patients. The staff here is wonderful. I was very embarassed and scared when I went to see Dr. Hilmi for the first time and was immediately put at ease. Every interaction with this office has been a pleasure. Over the course of 2+ years I have had I had two molars extracted, two bone grafts and 2 implants. Dr. Hilmi took time to explain everything to me and patiently answered every question I had. He takes great pride in his work and it really shows. The operations are relatively painless and the end results are amazing. Dr. Hilmi and his staff are kind and empathetic and offer excellent care with gentle, supportive, non-judgemental interactions with patients. The modern, immaculate facility is calm and soothing and is well equipped with high-end technology, and the treatments/solutions offered reflect an ongoing investment in training and keeping pace with new diagnostic and treatment developments. Dr. Himi is simply the best. Highly recommend.

Doctor Hilmi and his office staff are good at making people comfortable. I was so nervous before my implant. He explains everything and is always available for questions.

Dr. Hilmi changed my life in a very positve way. I had several dental implants placed over the last few years. He always took the time to make sure I had all the information and time I needed to feel comfortable. He called to make sure I was healing properly as well after every visit. He and his staff are like clockwork...absolute perfection.

I felt very comfortable with the high level of COVID precautions. Dr. Hilmi is in full PPE head to toe, only one patient in the office at a time, UV light sanitation and full change of scrubs between patients. Dr.Hilmi is a very compassionate and tentative doctor. He listens and answers all your questions and concerns. He’s very gentle, and calming in a very anxious moment. He removed two of my wisdom teeth and followed me up post operatively. I highly recommend this doctor for oral surgery!!! His office is very clean and sophisticated.

As someone who absolutely hates going to a regular dentist (let alone an oral surgeon), Dr. Hilmi made my experience great. He cracks some good jokes, makes you feel comfortable, and gets you in and out of there. Definitely a great doctor.

I recently was referred to Dr. Hilmi ny the docs at Northern Dutchess Hospital after my front tooth was knocked out at softball practice. It was devasting to me but the office and doctor made me very comfortable. Throughout the process of taking the root out and placing the implant they dealt with my nervousmess and questions like true professionals. I dont know how I would have gotten through it otherwise. Those people are truly incredible and I definetly recommend them ...my daughters getting her wisdom teeth out next month:)

Recently had a difficult tooth extracted. Dr Hilmi was incredible from the first meeting. When you enter the office, your not sure if they are open yet. Until you see the waiting room! Not your ordinary, no personality waiting room. It’s designed in nautical and stained glass lamps, with a huge aquarium in the corner. No bright ceiling lights, just relaxing lamps and TOTAL atmosphere. Dr Hilmi is extremely caring, personable, and just plain fun to deal with. His relaxing manner, and the intense prep instructions and medications made the experience a lot less intimidating. I’m very thankful to have crossed paths with Dr Hilmi. He is truly an awesome and dedicated surgeon. His receptionist was very pleasant and efficient. I wish I could rate them more than 5 stars. ????

Dr. Hilmi and his assistants are awesome and i recommend them to everyone. I had four teeth removed so that I could have invisiline. They made it as pleasant as could be. I didn't feel a thing and only needed one pain pill afterwards. The doctor even called me to find out how I was doing-when does that ever happen.

The process from consultation through the placement of several implants was seamless and relatively painless as well.The office was available even when I called late at night with questions about instructions and pain management issues. That practice has my highest regard and I have made several recommendations to my personal friends and acquaintances.

Dr. Hilmi is an excellent oral surgeon. He has extracted two molars so far. I experienced no pain and no problems at all healing (even though I am a diabetic). He made sure he was familiar with my medical history and planned everything accordingly. He explained what he was going to do and how he was going to go about doing it. I am so happy I was able to find such a great doctor. An important plus- he even accepts my insurance.

I met Dr. Hilmi after I was admitted to the hospital with a serious infection in my neck ..My air way was nearly cut off completely and couldn't breath secondarily to an tooth infection. Dr. Hilmi came to the hospital in the middle of the night and saved my life. He stayed with me through the night in the ICU and followed up with me everyday until I fully recovered. He was one of the most compassionate and caring individuals I have ever come across and am extremely greatful as if I had to wait any longer to go to another hospital I would have been dead. Dr. Hilmi saved my life and for that I will always be greatful there are doctors out there in the world such as him.
