I don’t know where to even start…about 6 months ago, I injured my back due to a fall. My back progressively worsened until 2 weeks ago when I became unable to walk to the next room without the use of an assistive device. The day after surgery, I walked around the entire hospital floor and now, less than 2 weeks post-op, I am walking more than a mile a day. Dr. Mody, I can’t thank you enough for your expertise and care, which is allowing me to regain my life’s activities.

I highly recommend Dr. Mody. I went into the ER in great pain on Thursday and Dr, Mody arranged for the support people needed for surgery on that Saturday and got it DONE, PTL!! He performed a DLIF surgery on my back and it has made my life livable again. He has great support staff as well. I'm so very grateful to them all!

Dr. Mody is truly the best orthopedic surgeon in town although he did the same surgery twice he made it right I don't know any doctors that call you on Saturday or Sunday but Dr. Mody called me the Sunday after I got out of the hospital to make sure I wasn't in pain or didn't need anything, like I said I don't know any doctors that do that but Dr. Mody really cares about his patiences and if I need anything else done he's the guy I will go to

Dr. Mody, his PAs, nurses, and staff are all very professional, polite, caring, concerned, and encouraging. He performed an ACDF neck surgery in 2010 that has eliminated the shoulder and arm pains I had. Then in 2012, he performed an extensive 360 back fusion surgery with two disk replaced with excellent results. He has great bedside manner and always has the patient's best interest in mind. I highly recommend him!

Prior to my 360 fusion surgery, I was experiencing a great deal of numbness in both my legs. I was having difficulty walking for short periods of time. I had my surgery a year ago and now I am able to do all the things I use to do. People are amazed at how fast I have been able to resume my normal activities. Thank you very much Dr. Mody.

Dr. Mody is the best. He has done two 360 fusions on my lower back. He is helpful, caring and kind. I can walk and function without pain again. I feel as if I have gotten my life back.

Dr. Milan G. Mody, M.D. is a doctor I was immediately comfortable with and he had no problems answering all of my questions. His staff are all knowledgeable and helpful. My neck surgery (ACDF) went very well even considering I spent a few days in the hospital afterwards due to a complication from swelling . I was taken very good care of. I was not expecting to recover from the affects of the surgery so quickly once I got home. I had very minimal pain. And for those concerned about a scar on the front of your neck, you can't even see my scar. Dr. Mody concealed my scar within a natural fold in my lower neck. I recommend Dr. Milan G. Mody, M.D. to anyone needing ACDF surgery.

I am simply echoing what others before me have written. Dr. Mody gives you your life back. Its that simple. So far he has done a partial discectomy on my L5 S1 as well as removing three cervical discs in my neck. He is the most patient, thorough Doctor I have the pleasure of knowing. He involves you in the process. He doesn't push you into anything, all decisions are yours, but he educates you about your choices. The PA's are phenomenal! Again, super patient, kind and empathetic. They are a well oiled team that you really see the respect for each other.

I believe that I could not find a better doctor than Dr Mody. I've had two surgeries, on my neck and back. I my quality of life back. God gave him a gift and he uses it quite well.

Love overdue review but Dr. Mody literally changed my life. I have had 2 ACDF surgeries with Dr. Mody for different levels of cervical spinal disc disease and have had zero issues with neck pain since that time. I am back to my previous level of pain free activity. He gave me back my freedom from pain and gave me back my life. I had literally zero pain post surgery and was immediately better. Recommend him to anyone else suffering from back or neck issues.

I struggled with lower back pain, to the point I could not function normally any longer. I was scared to have back surgery. I’d heard so many bad things! BUT…. Dr Mody is a true gift from the heavens! I can not tell there was ever anything wrong with my back. He replaced the discs between L3 and L4, also between L4 and L5. I have two rods in my lower back to keep everything In place. It’s been over a year and I can walk, bend over, squat … all the things I couldn’t do before. My advice to anyone with back pain, go see Dr Mody!

I have been blessed to have had Dr Mody as my surgeon. He truly is everything you could ask for in a doctor. He is talented and so smart. He's done two surgeries on me with great success. I was hurting so bad with headaches and hands going to sleep. Looked for a doctor for a year and a half. Finally found Dr. Mody, which was recommend by my oncologist. I woke up from surgery with headaches gone and hands back to normal. I would recommend Dr. Mody, and would take my own family to him for anything that required his services.

I saw 3 spine doctors for my neck issues. I had stenosis with 5 herniated discs & my alignment was pitched forward. Other surgeons in TX and LA wanted to do 2 or 3 disks but they said my alignment could not be fixed. I was miserable after physical therapy, neck injections and medications including powerful narcotics. My neighbor was bragging on how dr. Mody fixed his back a few years ago. I made an appointment to see Dr Modyy. I had to see his PA Jeannie first and she ordered new CT & nerve study. My wife and I met with Dr. Mody and he explained in simple terms what my problems were and how to fix them if I wanted surgery. Dr. Mody wanted me to decide when and if I wanted this major surgery. After asking my other doctors (Savory, Chhabra and Broadwell) about him I did have my surgery last year. It was a long 6hour surgery but he was able to fix 80% of my problems. He initially said that I would only be 50% better but honestly I am so much better. Dr Mody went from the front of neck and also back of my neck on the same day. He took care of the alignment and pressure on my spinal cord at all 5 disks. I was home after 4 days and I followed His instructions after surgery. I would recommend Dr. Mody very highly for his surgery skills and warm bedside manners. His staff (Jeanie, Elise and Hollie) are also great. You may have a long wait but that's because so many people want to see him!

As a physician (Internal Medicine), I spent a lot of time researching different neurosurgeons or ortho spine surgeons in the hopes of finding someone thoughtful and skilled. I can't express enough how happy I am that I chose Dr. Mody. His surgical skill is unparalleled. Milan’s ability to explain your clinical picture and spinal imaging is impressive without once feeling like he was “talking down” to me. Milan’s bedside manner is confident yet warm. I am now over 2 years out of back fusion surgery: my back is still 90% pain free and I'm functional in every capacity. I had lived with about 20 years of pain and limitations before my fusion surgery. Milan did not see me at all my clinic visits because he is an extremely busy surgeon helping patients in the OR. However, his PAs Elise and Georgia are exceptional and keep him well-informed. If Dr Mody tells you that he can help you then there’s a very good chance you will get relief.

I just had another surgery consultation with Dr. Mody last week. Although I am not happy I need to have neck surgery, Dr. Mody was very informative, gave me all my options, and explained what I need to do before and after surgery. I left his office with more confidence in a doctor than I've had in years. His staff was amazing especially Linda, Elise and Suzanne during my first two visits. The office is immaculate and well organized. I am very happy Dr. Warren sent me to Dr. Mody for my neck stenosis. I have scheduled my neck fusion next month after putting it off for over several years. -JS
