I am so thankful to Dr. Roberts. I was first referred to her because a leading neurologist misdiagnosed my neuropathy as due to carpal tunnel syndrome. After examining me, she had her doubts but tried cortisone in both wrists. After I reported there was no change, because of her professional hunch, she suggested I get an MRI of my neck. After seeing the results she surmised that the numbness and tingling in my hands and feet were probably due to stenosis of my spinal cord. She immediately recommended 2 orthopedists, one of who ended up performing a laminectomy and laminoplasty to relieve the stenosis that was caused by a congenital narrowness of the spinal gap and by the main culprit, arthritis. This was a 2 year old mystery that was solved only by Dr. Robert's professional intuition. If I ever actually have carpal tunnel syndrome, I will be coming back directly to her!
