Dr. Todd M. Williams MD

Dr. Williams replaced my left knee yesterday. This is my second knee replacement with Dr. Williams and his staff and the experiences have been exceptional. Dr. Williams exhumes competence. He always thoroughly explains every problem and process and exudes empathy and understanding: he actually listens. I must give shoutouts to his excellent staff. Intake and recovery RN was attentive, and she communicates information clearly and understandably. She was also very very patient with my nervous need to chapter and over explain. She never cut me off or appeared rushed. The anesthesiologist offered the best lengthy expiation of the meds, their purpose, and the process. Most surprising was his follow-up: he was in the common area encouraging me as I took my first steps, and even came with Renee to see me off. Renee, of course, is simply the best PT ever. Her reputation in town is so broad that people tell me how lucky I am when I report that she not only does my post-op but continues with my 6 week care. And I must include Shawn who guides and coordinates, and the Mike (I think I remember his name correctly) who inserted a totally painless IV. No kidding, I felt NOTHING??. I know this is long, but the treatment I received at Stevens Point Orthopedics was five star plus.

Dr. Williams was prompt, inquisitive, attentive, and complete in his questions and processing my answers. He was thorough about what he was sure about, and clear about what things he could not say with certainty. Good recommendation for going forward with my conditions.

Dr. Williams did a good job explaining the situation with my knees. Because of that, I’ll be able to make an informed decision on surgery.

My DO recommended Dr.Williams very highly and he was correct! Dr.Williams is professional but caring. I have an been diagnosis with an autoimmune disorder and was apprehensive about doing the hip surgery. Dr. Williams told my wife and I that he would take every precaution to prevent infection. Everything worked out well and I am now scheduled for the other hip to be done in February.

Doctor Williams and his staff were absolutely wonderful. The professionalism and attention was without comparison. The surgery staff was great and the follow up with Shawn and Renee is more than expected.

Dr. Williams and his staff did an excellent job in explaining the complete process for my upcoming knee replacement. Very pleased!

Dr. Williams has been very helpful guiding me through the process of a hip replacement. In June it he took a wait and see approach and we all decided a January x-ray would give us a comparison. It did and it has gotten worse and we are moving forward with the replacement. All through this Dr. Williams has been phenomenal in explaining and caring for the my well being.

Dr. Williams was so helpful and understanding with Patrick’s knee issues we are so glad that we got an appointment with him. We are hopeful with the steroid injections. Thank you so much Dr. Williams.

Dr. Williams and his staff were incredible to work with when I had my total hip replacement. I can't tell you how happy I was with everything. Dr. Williams said to me just before I went in for surgery, "I'll fix you up!" And he certainly did! The surgery went excellent, the recovery was easy and mostly pain free. I was up and walking around my house without any assistance after only 3 days. I was blessed to have Dr. Williams as my surgeon and would highly recommend him. In fact, he will be doing my other hip in a couple months.
