I have been considering back surgery for at least two years. Dr. Holman was recommended by 3 other friends who had successful surgery. It takes some time to get an appointment. He is personable and does not push you into doing a surgery. He does a very thorough workup and documentation before scheduling the surgery and reguires a followup with in home PT after the surgery to promote proper recovery. HIs staff does a nice job of communicating.

Dr. Holman is very thorough and meticulous. I was referred to him after years of back pain. He ordered a number of tests, discovered issues that had been totally missed by others, developed a measured approach which eventually led to spinal reconstruction surgery and a two week stay at Methodist. At each appointment, I was never rushed and he answered all of my questions. Five months after surgery, I am new man. My pain is gone, I'm once again very active and I love life. Words cannot express my gratitude. I would refer Dr. Holman without hesitation.

I lost power to my left leg and in spite of 5 other neurologists and doctors recommendation for surgery Dr Holman suggestion was to exercise.

After seeing several orthopedic surgeons for a lumbar fusion and laminectomy, I decided to see a neurosurgeon, Dr. Holman, which a nurse in med center highly recommended to my son. I admired his uptodate knowledge of newest non-invasive approach to my surgery with little to no damage to back muscles. By 2nd day post op, the pain I had the past 2 yrs was gone and was i walking upright, not slouched forward. I would definitely recommend him to friend or family & would go back to him with any future problems of the spine at a heartbeat!!!

I had a spinal fusion (L5&S1) 2 years ago. Was back to work in 3 weeks. Spent 6 weeks in aqua therapy. Didn't even have to wear a back brace. Thanks to Dr. Holman I have my life back. I will recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Holman is a very caring physician who performed an extremely complicated spinal reconstruction on me to repair scoliosis and degenerative disc disease damage to my spine. I am home now and doing well thanks to his expertise in surgical application. Dr. Holman is a wonderful doctor. However, getting approval for a prescription refill usually requires more than one call and request. Don't wait until your prescription is just about out. It will not be approved in a timely manner.
